Cool Tunes For Temps In The 90’s!

Yes, the atmospheric upper-level low has turned the Central Coast temps upside down! Now roasting in the upper 90’s and expected to cool off sometime next year.

OK, not next year, but the heat is expected to dissipate by the time the weekend rolls around. All this time, you can trust your Rocket Town Radio “almost out-of-control room” to be stable and cool enough for an ice cream cone. Or a beverage on ice!

Take a listen to our noontime pilot, Greg Cavanaugh, Monday through Friday. He’s always getting the next best music flight plan together for you. Followed at 10am on Saturdays by “Trick” Matthews piloting your mid-morning and afternoon until 3pm.

Rocket Town Radio plays rock n roll, blues n soul for the Central Coast and beyond!

Flying To The Avila Beach Blues Festival!

Today’s program features two out of three bands and artists set to perform Sunday afternoon, May 25th.

Imagine the cool grassy field in front of the 21st Avila Beach Blues Festival stage. Hear the music of Gregg Allman, John Mayall and Trombone Shorty. Each will be compiling their set lists from the latest releases and acknowledged crowd favorites.

It’s an all-ages concert on the grounds of the Avila Beach Golf Resort. The downtown area has been rebuilt after ground oil contamination was found and remediation efforts commenced after lawsuits were settled.

Count on Rocket Town Radio to play these blues artists’ hits and tracks from now until the concert!
